As an integral member of the Crosslinx Transit Solutions team, LEA congratulates our team members in the successful award of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) project, the largest transit project in Canada. The Crosstown project is a 19 km light rail line will travel across Eglinton Avenue between Mount Dennis Station (Weston Road) in Toronto’s west end and Kennedy Station in the city’s east end. It will include 25 stations and stops that link commuters to bus routes, connections to three subway stations and various GO Transit lines. In addition, more than 10 kilometres of the system will run underground between Mount Dennis (Weston Road) and east of Laird Drive.

LEA is proud to be contributing our significant expertise in structural engineering and utility design services for the Yonge-Eglinton Interchange Station and several other inline stations to help Crosslinx successfully deliver this project. Having already completed the precursor Conceptual Design Study and preliminary design of both Bathurst and Dufferin Stations for the ECLRT, and design of the Finch West and Pioneer Village (Steeles West) Stations on the Toronto York Spadina Subway Extension, LEA is excited about this project, and the opportunity to further grow and strengthen our expertise in the transit sector.
